the Revised Common Lectionary used by most churches is

sermons for each book were selected from the preaching of
Pastor Peterman from 1968 to the present.
The Revised Common Lectionary is a cycle of Bible texts that
repeats every three years, beginning on the First Sunday in
Advent.
-
Year A - Matthew -

2010, etc.
-
Year B - Mark -

2011, etc.
-
Year C - Luke -

While most pastors do not simply copy
other sermons word for word, they can nevertheless often
discover from what others have preached fresh insights into
biblical texts and illustrations that prove helpful in
preparing their own sermons. It is hoped that the sermons in
this series of Practically Preaching will be of help
to clergy as they undertake the vital task of preaching the
Gospel faithfully to their congregations.
For laity, the sermons in these three volumes offer the
opportunity to reflect on biblical texts and better
understand their meaning. The index in each book provides
references to specific topics as well, so that interest in a
particular subject can be readily pursued.
The Foreword is written by Lucky K. Sahualla, vice-president
of Jones McClure Publishing Company.
A complete set of all three volumes may be purchased for
$50, which is $10 less than if purchased individually.
These books make wonderful and inspiring gifts at Christmas
or at any time of the year.
